Housed in a converted church in the backstreets of Fitzroy, The Eleventh Hour is a performance space that presents experimental and adventurous music-making, ranging from early music to the latest experimental ideas and beyond. As a creative hub, we host concerts, workshops, and residencies, fostering new projects and inspiring ideas. 

 

Our primary purpose is to cultivate adventurous work by local music creators. We provide a platform for Melbourne's diverse and dynamic music community, inviting them to share their singular stories in sound. We embrace the unorthodox, encouraging unconventional ensembles, non-traditional performance practices, new technologies, and surprising creative collaborations. In so doing, we invite our audience to join us on a journey of discovery.
